Resources are tools and services provided to students and parents to
educate and inform them so that they can become active participants
in the educational process. Resources take the form of school-based
services, business and industry partnerships, and community support.
Students and parents who develop an awareness of available resources
are better prepared to make the high school experience both
successful and rewarding.
The Office of Teaching and Learning's Career and Technical Education
Program has created numerous partnerships. These partnerships
include: professional school-based staff, members of business and
industry, postsecondary institutions and community organizations to
provide every student with an opportunity to participate in a more
meaningful, personalized academically challenging career path.
Graduates will successfully transition to postsecondary
institutions, apprenticeships and employment in the new global
economy.
